How to Make a Cheap and Easy Maze for Your RC Restaurant

Posted on 03 March 2010 by admin

If you have been playing much Restaurant City of late, you have probably heard of mazes the simple and yet highly effective way that many top players manage the flow of customers into their restaurant. This is more or less essential if you are serious about having a nice stop gap on how fast the customers can get into your restaurant and to their seats. If you are able to manage the flow properly, you can get more customers in and maintain a high popularity rating ideally at 50.0.

Do You Want To Learn More Secret Tactics You Can Use to Legally Dominate Your Way to the Top of Restaurant City, Growing Your Restaurant at Light Speed? Click HERE to Checkout The Restaurant City Mastery Guide.

How to Setup a Good Maze
A good maze should be at both doors and shouldnt be something that people can get around. It needs to have a good balance to the dcor of the room, but that is far less important than managing that steady flow. To start with, you should place your islands as far away as possible. Do not stack anything against the wall, but make sure you have the tables as far away from the door as possible. Once you reach a higher level, this is much easier but for now, you just need to be sure you stack them nice and deeply into the corner.
Then, go out and buy some barriers or, if you have gathered some awards use those, and place them in a line, blocking the direct entrance from the door. Create a funnel that pushes the incoming customers along the far walls so they cannot get directly to you tables. When well planned, you can keep customers from entering and sitting right down.

Maintaining a Maze
With a maze, you need to be sure your restaurant never outgrows it. This means that you should keep an eye on the corners so that people dont start walking around it.

Additionally, you should watch to be sure that no one is able to stampeded into the restaurant unchecked. Set up waiting chairs or a set of Arcade units so that they have something to keep them busy when they are not yet ready to sit down and eat. This will almost always be the case once your rating is 25 or higher so be sure to keep an eye on upset customers who cannot find a table.

As you can imagine, a maze is a vital part of any good restaurant. How you set it up and how it looks are entirely up to you, but once you reach level 5 and have the space in your restaurant for it, make sure to integrate it into your design. You will start seeing noticeable upkick in your income this way.

Restaurant City Secrets – Mastering the Island Layout

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

Are you stuck trying to figure out the best restaurant layout when you play Restaurant City? Getting this wrong can be a big headache, believe me. Fortunately, there is a great way to get this right. One of the big Restaurant City secrets for success is something called the island layout. Want to learn more about it?

The island layout isn’t something you need to worry about right away. But once your restaurant reaches at least 2 chefs or 5 tables, the layout of the place becomes ever more important. This is when the best players move to an island layout.

The point is to make your employees as efficient as possible which means you’ll earn the most coins and Gourmet Points in the least amount of time.

So what is an Island Layout? It is a way of laying out your restaurant so that stoves serve a group of tables which are all located right next to them. Imagine each self-contained group of tables and stove as its own island and you’ll have the picture.
Now picture laying out your restaurant in such a way that it consists of multiple islands. The result will be the most efficient way to organize your restaurant.

Why use this layout? If you set it up right, each chef will be right beside the tables they serve, while the waiters have to move as little as possible to take care of their tables. Lay out your restaurant with islands, and the food handling portions of your business will become much more efficient.

I don’t have the space here to explain how to come up with a well-designed island layout for your restaurant. But there is a Restaurant City guide that will show you these and many other secrets of the game. To find out more, visit: http://Restaurant-City-Secrets.com

Dear Aspiring Top Restaurant Owner,

If you’re sick and tired of running around totally broke and have a popularity level of 5.0, while other players have atomic stoves, jukeboxes and retro arcade machines, this information is for you.

You’ve probably always wondered why you can’t seem to make as much money or is stuck with such little gourmet points and cannot level up as fast as the other players in the game.

I used to wonder the same thing. I thought,

“How are these people making cafe coins so fast?”

“Are they buying it on Restaurant City?”

“What recipes are they preparing and how do they get to Level 10?”

So I set out to spy on all the successful players I could find to see just what they did to earn all of their coins and to level up so fast.

I spent months using stealth tactics to track high level players everywhere from the forums to adding them and visiting their cafes and back.

I discovered just what it was they were doing to make extreme amounts of coins – and then improved upon their methods myself and even created amazingly profitable new techniques.

They never suspected a thing, that is, until I started making more money than all of them…If they found out that I spied on them- they would hate me even more!

Restaurant City Secrets – Secrets of Earning Gourmet Points in Restaurant City

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

If you want to be one of the top players in Restaurant City, you need to get to Level 27. That’s the current top level in the game, and it is where you’ll have the biggest restaurant, the most options, and the most fun.

But first you have to get there. And for that, you need piles of Gourmet Points (GP). I’ve got 2 tips for you, courtesy of Restaurant City Secrets, the brand new guide to this popular Facebook game.

Gourmet Points are how this game keeps track of your progress toward higher levels. While it’s easy to level when your restaurant is new, the higher you go, the more GP it takes to get to the next level. To get all the way to the top, you’re going to want to take advantage of these two tips:

Create some top level dishes. Level 10 dishes earn you far more GP than lower level dishes do. So getting at least a few meals to Level 10 is very important. But you don’t have to get all your dishes to Level 10. If you can get one Starter dish, one Main dish, and one Dessert to Level 10, you’ve succeeded. That’s because you can then offer an all-Level 10 menu to get the greatest number of GP per customer. Choose the right dishes. You need to look at the lists of ingredients in each dish to estimate how hard it will be to level that dish (or you can check out the tables of dishes in Restaurant City Secrets). The more rare ingredients a dish has, the harder it will be to get that dish to Level 10.

These are just two of the dozens of tips nestled between the 55 pages of Restaurant City Secrets.

As this article shows, there’s more to success at Restaurant City than meets the eye. If you found these two tips helpful, imagine how much you can learn from the complete game guide! To find out more about this great Facebook game guide, just click Restaurant City Secrets

Restaurant City Secrets – Eliminate Restaurant City Ingredients Headaches

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

If you’ve been playing for more than a short time, you’ve probably gotten frustrated by the sheer number of Restaurant City ingredients to keep track of. It can be overwhelming. But you’ll be glad to know that with the right menu strategy, the problem of ingredients in Restaurant City practically disappears. Let me explain.

The top players in Restaurant City concentrate on putting together a menu that has 3, Level 10 dishes (one in each category). A menu like this ensures that you get the greatest return in the least amount of time. It also greatly simplifies your ingredients problem.

Why? Because if you concentrate on 3 dishes in your menu, you only need to concentrate on gathering the ingredients for those three dishes! While this in itself is no easy task, dealing with the ingredients for 3 dishes is far simpler than trying to figure out the ingredients for a larger menu.

Getting Your Ingredients

Even if you use the 3 dish strategy of building your menu (thereby reducing the amount of ingredients you need) you still need to get the ingredients you do need. Here are some ways to go about it:

Get Daily Ingredients simply by logging into the game once a day. Get free ingredients by answering the Daily Quiz. Buy the ingredients you need. Unfortunately, you’ll run out of money quickly this way, so it is more of an emergency step than something you can rely on day to day.

If you’ve been thinking things through, you’ve already noticed one possible flaw in this plan. When you are concentrating on only 3 dishes, most of the dishes you’re likely to get will be of no use to you.

While this may look like a disadvantage, you can turn it into an advantage if you master the art of trading for ingredients. After all, ingredients you don’t need are prime trading material to exchange for the stuff you do need. The Restaurant City Secrets game guide can show you a complete strategy for trading ingredients.

Boosting and Maintaining Your Popularity Rating in Restaurant City

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

One of the fundamental measurements of success in Restaurant City is your popularity rating. This little rating, which appears in the upper right hand corner of the screen alongside a thumbs-up signal, is a vital aspect of the game that will tell you how well you are doing at making your customers happy. The higher the rating goes, the better you are doing and the more customers will appear to check out your restaurant. You will even start to notice when the rating gets very high that some customers will leave before sitting because there just isnt enough space thats a good thing (as long as they dont downgrade you for a wait).

How the Popularity Rating Works

The popularity rating is tied to a few different details. To start with, you receive popularity points or lose them whenever a customer rates your restaurant. There is either a thumbs-up or thumbs-down for your food, and technically, they are rating the restaurant and not the food as the food comes out the same every time. Factors that will result in bad ratings include wait times, lack of tables, slow service, messiness, and lack of clean toilets. If you can keep all of these things from becoming factors, you will receive a thumbs-up.

That thumbs up is then worth one upgrade in your popularity points, depending on what level your dishes are. At Level 1, your dishes are worth 0.1 on the popularity scale. At Level 10, those dishes are worth 0.28.It might not seem like a lot, but it can add up very quickly if you are looking to go really high with your rating. Generally speaking, your rating will top out at a few spots according to your service and how much space there is in your restaurant.

The maximum popularity rating in the game is a solid 50.0 which takes a tremendous amount of good service (usually with 8 full staff members), level 10 dishes, and a clean, well laid out restaurant to maintain.

How to Keep the Popularity Score High

Once you get a high popularity score, your goal needs to be, above and beyond all else, to keep it high. You dont want your restaurant to start dipping off at the max level because then you will start to lose customers and in turn you will lose coins, and your revenues will drop. Youll need that money when you reach the higher levels so that you can start upgrading the interior and exterior of your restaurant.

To keep the score high, work on keeping everything clean, maintaining a good service line with island layouts, and always having enough tables, chairs and toilets. If you cannot serve everyone, dont give them anything to do. Having too many arcade units or waiting chairs can result in lowered ratings if the people in them get up and leave before they get to eat.

Ultimately, your popularity score is going to be a barometer of how well you are doing in the game. Forget to check it often and cater your service toward it and things will quickly start to go downhill.

How Many Ingredients Do You Really Need in Restaurant City?

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

Anyone who has ever played Restaurant City can tell you that the key to being successful in the game is to spend some time gathering as many ingredients as possible. They are the lifeblood of the game in more than one way. First off, they are the easiest way to interact with other players and be social in a game that is designed to be social. Second, they allow you to start and enjoy your own garden something that no other cooking game on Facebook allows. Finally, and most importantly, they are what allows you to level up your dishes. When those dishes are leveled up, you get more GP, more coins, and more popularity rating for every customer served.

How Do You get New Ingredients?
The big question then is how to get those ingredients. By default, the methods to getting ingredients are rather limited. Every day you will get one for free just for logging in. You will also get a chance at a second one by answering the daily quiz question correctly. After that though, it is entirely up to you whether you will gain any more than 2 for the day.

One way to get more is to go out and farm them yourself after you hit level 16 and have your garden. This is rather expensive though, almost as much so as buying them directly from the marketplace, where they will range between 2500 and 4000 coins each (way more than you should ever spend). You can alternately buy them with Playfish Cash but that costs you real world money that you likely dont want to spend.

Finally, you can get them from your friends. There are two ways to do this. The first is to trade with your friends a good way to get them if you know you only need a select number and there are plenty of ingredients youre willing to get rid of.
However, if that fails, you can also find new friends in the game. Once you add them, you are permitted to go to their restaurant and get a free ingredient for that first visit. The more friends you gather, the more ingredients you can gather with this method.
Start Early

The bottom line is that ingredients are the fundamental basis of this game. Without them, youll never level up your dishes and it will take months to get anywhere near the top level and a place where you can buy new items. However, if you go out and work hard for new ingredients early enough, youll quickly find that you can load up on everything you need with days and weeks on your route to gourmet street.

How to Set Your Employees in Restaurant City

Posted on 02 March 2010 by admin

Restaurant City, as one of the most popular Facebook games currently on the Internet, has become something of a lightning rod for those looking to master a game that takes a bit of skill and a whole lot of time. One of the fundamental aspects of playing the game well is to create and manage employees in such as way that they can handle all of the different layouts that would allow you restaurant to succeed. There are a lot of things to juggle but if you can do it properly, youll be well on your way to having a high quality, well run restaurant.

Do You Want To Learn More Secret Tactics You Can Use to Legally Dominate Your Way to the Top of Restaurant City, Growing Your Restaurant at Light Speed? Click HERE to Checkout The Restaurant City Mastery Guide.

How to Hire and Set Employees
You can hire employees at set intervals in the game. The first two employees are provided to you when you first start playing the game at level 1. You will be one of your own employees and then you can go and hire someone else from your friends list to be your first waiter and to start serving customers. After you have hired those first two, you will also be able to add employees at level 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17. That will give you a total of 8 employees to run your restaurant a generally good number that will allow you to handle just about anything that you set up in your layout.

Keeping the Employees Happy
The thing about employees is that they generally do everything on their own. You dont need to cut or prepare food as in Cafe World and you dont need to worry about things like rotation or positioning nearly as much. They will do their jobs without any prompting. However, you will need to go in and rest your employees or feed them regularly enough if you want them to be able to continue serving successfully.

There is a meter tied to your employees that ranges from 1 to 100%. Each increment of 25% will drop the happiness level of your employee and slow them down, resulting in worse performance and less income for you, as well as a dropped popularity score.

To keep this score high and to maintain a level that will keep those employees happy, you either need to rest them or you need to feed them. The best route is to feed them as it is much less expensive in the long run. That said, you will need to spend a bit of time maintaining them every time you logon if you can do that, youll be okay with your employees and can change your focus to how they are positioned in your layout.

Restaurant City Secrets – Turn Your Friends Into Your Restaurant City Employees

Posted on 01 March 2010 by admin

Are you looking for Restaurant City tips on turning your Facebook friends into your employees? If so, you’re in luck. In this article I’ve got some great advice about employees from Restaurant City Secrets, the top new Restaurant City guide.

While in some games your employees just take on the name and appearance of your Facebook friends, in this game, your Facebook friends can actively help your restaurant to grow. So when it comes time to hire a new employee, give some thought to how likely it is that each of your friends will be online at the same time you are, and will be willing to help you gather ingredients for your restaurant. Having human friends who will aid you in growing your restaurant will make a huge difference.

Next you need to think about how to keep your employees productive. Remember that in this game your employees use up energy working and need to eat or rest every few hours to remain productive.

Your goal should be to work out a system for feeding and resting employees that keeps their energy rating at or above 75%. If you can do that, they will remain productive enough to keep your Gourmet Points and coins growing. Let your employees energy get below about 75%, and they will become so unproductive that your restaurant is likely to start losing ground.

Another thing to consider is the placement of your employee work stations. If the chefs are too far away from the customers, your waiters will have to walk long distances to serve the customers. This uses up energy and causes the waiters to serve fewer guests before getting tired. Laying out your restaurant with this in mind complicates things, but the increased productivity you get in return makes this one of the key Restaurant City tips.

As you can see, there are lots of little nuances to this game that make a quality Restaurant City guide very valuable. And if you’re thinking about a guide, you can’t go wrong with this one: Restaurant City Secrets
